Today really is the DAY for me!
I've taken a giant leap forward in the world of quilts and blogs. I am participating in the Table Topper Blog Hop sponsored by that wonderful smiling face behind the coffee cup......Madame Samm of Sew I Quilt. These things always seem so doable when you first sign up. But when the deadline got moved from February to April, I let my personal deadline slip too. So there I was, facing the month of March with no Table Topper and a trip to Europe coming up in April. Nothing like a little pressure to get one's creativity flowing.

I mulled over ideas, I pulled out books, I read blogs. What kept coming back to me was that I very much LOVE color in a quilt. So my idea was born.....
Color My World With Love.
First I pulled fabrics from my scraps.
Then I picked out a block for the center called Ribbon Star.
It needed some hearts since the theme of the hop was "I *heart* ______________"
A few words, some colorful binding, a little quilting and it is done.
Thanks for stopping by to see my efforts. Thank you Madame Samm for inviting me to participate. I enjoyed playing with color.
P.S. Note that my table topper is attached to the holder with binder clips. I had all good intentions to get a sleeve put on but time and packing for Europe got in the way. In case you are wondering, it is still in display mode with binder clips. Such is my life.
