After browsing several blogs and tutorials about making a big-board ironing board, I sent off a link to my DH. He was intrigued by the possibility of using what we have to make this. So we hauled out the standard size ironing board (which hadn't been used for forever!). DH found boards in the garage from an old brick and board bookcase. In no time at all, the basic frame was together.
